Volleyball Stars’ Walk of Fame Foundation was founded out of great passion to volleyball. The main aim of the organisation is the promotion of volleyball and active life. One of the main foundation’s projects implemented continuously since 2003, is the Avenue of volleyball stars. This world-scale volleyball event is organized in small Milicz at Lower Silesia in Poland. Beside popularization of this discipline of sport, Avenue of volleyball stars also presents profiles of people and companies who are involved and important to volleyball thanks to which volleyball can develop.

The project is very popular among volleyball enthusiasts and is permanently scheduled in calendar of Polish Volleyball Federation. From over a decade best volleyball players, coaches, activists and patrons make their handprints on the Avenue of volleyball stars at Milicz market. Among the awarded you can find Mariusz Wlazły, Paweł Zagumny, Daniel Castellani, Dorota Świeniewicz, Małgorzata Glinka, Gilberto de Godoy Filho-GIBA, Raul Lozano and many others.

After the ceremonial part at Milicz market there is a game played between polish national team versus one of the best world teams. The competition always brings a lot of excitement and gathers a lot of volleyball fans not only from Poland but also from around the world.

Foundation not only continues, develops and organizes next editions of Avenue of volleyball stars but also implements the statutory objectives such as:

• building the first in the world interactive Museum of volleyball stars,
• improving the infrastructure of sport objects for youth and kids,
• building new sport objects.
