Andrea Gardini – Italian volleyball player, middle blocker, one of the top award-winning Italian volleyball players. Seven-time winner of the title of champion of Italy, with four different clubs. Member of the Volleyball Hall of Fame.

In the 1990s − three-time winner of the world champion title (1990, 1994, 1998), four-time winner of the European champion title (1989, 1993, 1995, 1999), and six-time winner of the World League (1990, 1991, 1992, 1994, 1997 and 2000). He won the Gran Champions Cup (1993), World Super Four (1994), World Cup (1995) and two olympic medals: silver in 1996 in Atlanta and bronze in 2000 in Sydney.
