Józef Wołyniec – organizer and lecturer of Polish Volleyball Federation’s workshops and conferences for coaches; he educated over 400 coaches and instructors of volleyball; several of his trainees became coaches of the Polish national team at different levels.

Coaching career

1965−80 – coach of men’s volleyball team of AZS Wrocław
1971 – second coach of women’s Polish national team
1987−89 – coach of men’s volleyball team of Eagles New York
1992−93 – coach of women’s volleyball team of CVS Courneres (France)

Awards and achievements

Winner of numerous ministerial and national awards: the Golden Cross of Merit, Medal of the National Education Commission, Golden Badge for Distinguished Sport Service and Golden Badge of the Polish Volleyball Federation; the Best Coach of Five Decades (awarded in 1996).
