Krystyna Czajkowska-Rawska
Krystyna Czajkowska-Rawska – Polish volleyball player, two-time Olympic medallist.
She is a graduate of the Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw. A player of Górnik Katowice, AZS AWF Warsaw and Kolejarz Katowice.
She played for the national team 228 times in 1955−1968. She participated twice in the Olympic Games (Tokyo 1964 and Mexico City 1968), both times winning bronze (3rd place). In the national team she also won a bronze medal of the World Championship (1962) as well as two silver medals (1963 and 1967) and bronze (1958) of the European Championship.
Ten-time medallist of the Championship of Poland (8 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal). Twice, in 1961 and 1963, she won the 2nd place of the CEV European Champions Cup with AZS AWF Warsaw.
