Małgorzata Glinka
Małgorzata Glinka – volleyball player, 217 matches in the Polish national team, two-time Champion of Europe. She graduated from the sports class at the Juliusz Słowacki General Secondary School No. 7 in Warsaw. On June 26th 2004, she married Roberto Mogentale, Italian volleyball player. Mother of Michelle.
She started her career playing in Skra Warszawa (1993–1996), then she joined leading Polish teams: Dick Black Andrychów (1996–1998) and Augusto Kalisz (1998–1999). Successful performance in Polish club teams and the national team led her to the Italian league. In 1999–2003, she played in the Vicenza team and in 2003, she joined Asystel Novara. In the 2005/2006 season, she was a member of the RC Cannes team, with several other renowned women volleyballers, including Victoria Ravva and Kateřina Bucková.
She played for Polish junior national teams and belonged to the Polish senior team. She took the European Champion title twice, in 2003 and 2005.
Having suspended her career after the Olympic Games in Beijing, she returned to volleyball in 2010 to win the MVP title in the Memorial of Agata Mróz-Olszewska. Since the 2010/2011 season, she has played for Vakıfbank Güneş Sigorta, Istanbul, Turkey.
