Piotr Gruszka – Polish volleyball player, from 1995 member of the national team (with a record high number of matches played with the national team); with time he became its captain, playing in the position of spiker or receiver (outside hitter). European Champion of 2009, silver medallist of the World Championship (2006), three-time participant in the Olympic Games (Atlanta 1996, Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008). MVP of the European Championship in 2009. Until and including 2008, he played in all 11 editions of the World League (1998−2008) with the Polish national team.
