Wiesław Czaja – mechanical engineer, volleyball player, World Champion, three-time silver medallist of the European Championship (1975, 1977, 1979), and participant of the Olympic Games in Moscow (1980).

Coaching career

Since October 2009, he has been the coach of Pronar Zeto Astwa AZS Białystok, the Polish Women’s-Volleyball League team.

Awards and achievements

He was selected for the national team 205 times (1974−1980). World Champion of Mexico (1974). Three-time silver medallist of the European Championship (Belgrade 1975, Helsinki 1977, Paris 1979). He was awarded twice with silver and twice with gold medal for outstanding sporting performance.
